Customer Reviews

We love this tour, the guide Thembi was really passioned and explain all the history of Kayamandi. What a community, strong and noble... It was a plaesure to meet the children of Zenzele, the mamma, Jimmy and Charles, and the lunch was absolutly delicious!! Thank you - Cécile Kayar

The tour around Kayamandi with Thembi was great. She is very knowledgeable, but aboveall very fun to hang out with. She was very enthusiastic about her neighbourhood in which she has almost popstar status :-) Also the food was great, while Thembi explained a bit about the background of the food and what place food has in the township's life. Thembi explained in an interesting way how life in the township is, from her own experience and that of her community. Definately recommend in case you would like to get (literally) a taste of the life in the townships. - Danny
